About Dr.St. Louis
My team at Central Texas Orthodontics call me Dr. B and I truly feel honored
to be in such a wonderful field. I enjoy seeing how much confidence orthodontics can inspire in the smiles of children and adults. I grew up in a small Midwestern town in Indiana. After graduating summa cum laude from Indiana State University I spent time working at a ski resort in Colorado and Australia teaching children how to snowboard. My desire to continue working with children and my interest in the medical field led me to pursue training in Orthodontics. Orthodontics just seemed like the perfect balance. While living in Colorado, I met my wife, Jessica, who looked after the toddlers at the ski school. Jessica attended Texas State University and has family in the Canyon Lake area. She really raved about Austin so I came down to take a look.
After enjoying the mountains for a few years, my wife and I went to pursue our medical endeavors. I went to dental school at the University of California San Francisco. After becoming a dentist, I completed a 3 year residency at the Ohio State University's Graduate Orthodontic Program where I treated patients and received specialized training solely in orthodontics and facial development. During my residency I earned a Master's degree in orthodontics and I also spent 2 years at Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH treating children with cleft lip and palate.
My wife and I enjoy spending time with our young son, Sam, and love to do just about anything outdoors. We try to take advantage of all the wonderful family oriented activities in Austin. The barbeque is great too! Please stop in and see me and our wonderful team. We strive to do our best each and every day to help make orthodontics as easy and enjoyable as possible.
